Four days later, Priorās body turned up in an abandoned lot in Longueuil, on Montrealās South Shore. Sheād been savagely sexually assaulted and murdered.
For nearly half a century, her killerās identity eluded police detectives and Sharronās family.
But now, new DNA testing tools have proved conclusively it was Franklin Romine ā an American whoād been living in Montreal at the time of the murder.
