Closing arguments expected at Greg Fertuck murder trial

A Saskatoon judge is to hear closing submissions at Greg Fertuck’s murder trial Monday, as the lengthy and complex procedure comes to a close.

Greg Fertuck, who is representing himself in court, is expected to present his final submissions at the Court of King’s Bench. Crown prosecutors Cory Bliss and Carla Dewar will then make their submissions. After that, Fertuck will have an opportunity to provide a limited rebuttal.

Fertuck is charged with first-degree murder and causing an indignity to a human body. He is accused of killing his estranged wife Sheree and disposing of her remains in 2015.
